Managers are different however as they are assigned a position based on their knowledge, skills and experience as they ensure that the work gets done to a certain standard. Leaders inspire their team to perform at their peak and provide guidance when needed. They motivate staff to achieve the predetermined goals of the company. A truely exceptional CEO should both inspire their team to create the results that need to be achieved therefore they should be both a manager and a leader - not just a boss or a rule
